Check out the new (and improved!) gallery! People can now register and upload their own photos. I need to manually add you to the members group for full access, but your basic login will allow you to make your own albums and upload your own pictures.

I suggest using the Windows XP publish to web function, it's really easy and quite cool. Just click on the Windows XP tab when you go to add items and follow the instructions. When you follow this you'll get to a step where it asks if you want to resize the pictues before uploading them. USE THE LARGE 1024x768 setting. This keeps the filesizes down while still providing plenty of detail. Let me know if you have any problems!
